Terms of Service

Raveyard.city is a free community platform operated from Riga, Latvia. It lets people who have unused outdoor space (a yard, a rooftop, a lot) connect with people who want to help turn that space into a garden, usually with music playing. We call these meetups sessions or tasks.

We are a noticeboard, not an agency. We don't organize the sessions ourselves, we don't employ anyone through the platform, and we don't process any payments. There is nothing to buy here.

Joining a session is voluntary community mutual aid. It is not employment, not work-for-hire, not a service contract, and not an exchange of labor for compensation. Nobody on Raveyard.city is paid through the platform, and hosts must not offer or promise payment for participation. You join because you want to dig, plant, learn, or hang out - and you can leave at any time.

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone number or email address. Your account is tied to that verified contact. You must be at least 16 years old to use Raveyard.city. Keep your contact details working - they are the only way back into your account.

Hosts are responsible for the spaces and sessions they post: for having the right to use the space, for describing tasks honestly, and for creating safe, respectful conditions on site. If a task involves tools, heavy lifting, or anything with real risk, the host must say so in the listing and brief people in person.

We verify a phone number or email address - nothing more. We do not run background checks on hosts or participants, and we cannot guarantee anyone is who they say they are. Use the same judgment you would use meeting anyone from the internet: read profiles, bring a friend if you want, and trust your gut.

Gardening is physical. Digging, lifting, building, and being outdoors carry inherent risks of injury. By joining a session you accept those risks and agree to only take on tasks you feel physically comfortable and able to do. Raveyard.city is not liable for injuries, damage, or losses that happen at sessions organized through the platform, to the extent permitted by law.

When you post text or photos (your garden, your sessions, your profile), you keep ownership of them. You grant Raveyard.city a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform so that other users can see it. Don't post content you don't have the right to share, and don't post photos of people without their consent.

The house rulesare part of these terms. Harassment, discrimination, creepy behavior, or repeated no-shows can get your account suspended or deleted without warning. We'd rather have a smaller, kinder scene than a bigger, worse one.

Raveyard.city processes no payments, holds no money, and sells nothing. If anyone asks you to pay (or offers to pay you) through or because of the platform, report it to us.

We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia.
